Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Belfast is seeking a Senior Engineer with postgraduate experience to lead design and project management of major road schemes and active travel projects.

You will work in our Roads team, guiding a multi-disciplinary group and delivering concept through detailed designs. You will manage client relations, coordinate with stakeholders, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with DMRB, BIM integration, and NEC contract work.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Incorporated or Chartered Status (AMIEI/MIEI or equivalent).
• Proven project management skills in highway/road schemes.
• Experience liaising with clients and stakeholders on multi-discipline projects.
• Experience with contract preparation or administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team delivering design for major road schemes.
• Prepare and review NEC/Public Works contracts and tender documents.
• Manage design and modelling using Civil 3D and BIM integration.
• Ensure compliance with standards and health, safety, and QA.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical reviews.
