Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate/Associate Director to join the Roads team in Belfast. You will provide technical leadership to design teams, deliver projects on time and within budget, and mentor junior staff.

You will oversee highways-focused projects, lead multi-disciplinary design efforts, and work closely with clients to develop trusted relationships while ensuring quality and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering highways schemes.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Ability to manage budgets and client relationships.
• UK vetting (SC) preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-disciplinary projects of varying scale, complexity and value, managing budget and financial performance.
• Lead design teams and mentor junior staff to maximise contribution.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, proactively managing expectations.
• Prepare tender packages and ensure compliance with design standards.
• Collaborate with Roads team and wider Transport & Infrastructure to achieve objectives.
