Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Senior RME Technician to lead reliability maintenance across EU sites. You will supervise shifts, ensure safe operation, and drive uptime through proactive maintenance and automation improvements.

You will monitor equipment with SCADA tools and work with PLC-based controls, ensuring regulatory compliance and high performance. Night shifts and weekends may be required as you develop into senior roles within the team.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or 4-year UK apprenticeship completed.
Experience in a technical leadership role is required.
Experience in automation or material handling environments is required.
Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English is required.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate best practice on equipment safety and monitor teams for correct processes.
Track equipment performance via visual checks, condition-based monitoring and preventive maintenance; schedule servicing as needed.
Supervise technicians on shift and act as first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
Resolve equipment issues to reduce downtime and support fast processing of packages.
Support improving systems and standardising processes across the EU network.
