Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineer (RME) Technician to lead shifts, supervise technicians, and drive upgrades that raise uptime.

You will monitor equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and push improvements across the EU network to keep fulfilment centres highly productive.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics (or a 4-year UK apprenticeship) and strong English; experience in automation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or a 4-year UK apprenticeship completed.
• Experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Experience in automation or material handling equipment environments.
• Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate best practice on using equipment safely and monitor teams to ensure processes are followed.
• Keep track of equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks; schedule servicing as required.
• Supervise technicians on shift to support their development and act as the first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
• Solve issues in equipment to reduce downtime for operations so they can process packages quickly.
• Support in finding ways to improve systems and standardise processes across the EU network.
