Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Technician to lead and optimise maintenance across our EU network. You will supervise on-shift technicians, monitor equipment with SCADA and CMMS, and drive improvements to increase uptime and efficiency.

You will work at an operational site with shift patterns that may include nights and weekends, contributing to Amazon's high standards and ongoing tech-led upgrades.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or a UK 4-year apprenticeship.
• Experience in a technical leadership role within manufacturing or automation.
• Experience in electrical and mechanical disciplines and in automation environments.
• Proficient verbal and written English.
• Experience in multi-site and multi-contractor settings (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate best practice and monitor teams to ensure correct processes.
• Track equipment performance via visual checks, condition-based monitoring and preventive maintenance; schedule servicing.
• Supervise on-shift technicians and act as first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
• Resolve equipment issues to reduce downtime and speed up package processing.
• Help standardise processes across the EU network and drive improvements.
