Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Senior RME Technician to lead proactive and reactive maintenance on site equipment at our Daventry distribution site. You will diagnose issues, apply PLC controls, and coordinate improvements across EU sites, while mentoring apprentices.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.

• NVQ Level 3 and a full engineering indentured apprenticeship or equivalent.

• Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls and PLC programs.

• Experience using CMMS for proactive and reactive tasks.

• Reading blueprints and schematics; industrial electrical and electronics.

• Flexibility to work weekends/nights as required.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold health and safety policies and practices.
• Support progression of on-site apprentices.
• Lead improvements and roll out best practices across EU sites.
