Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Senior RME Technician in Daventry to lead maintenance on site equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and drive improvements across EU sites.

You will diagnose faults, supervise apprentices, and work with SCADA and CMMS tools to optimize performance. You will join a technically minded team, support coordination with line managers, and work shifts that may include nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma
• 4-year UK certified apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics
• Experience with automated conveyors systems and controls
• Experience using CMMS to plan maintenance and record tasks
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
• Knowledge of safety policies and regulation compliance

Responsibilities

• Perform proactive and preventive maintenance on site equipment
• Diagnose faults and carry out reactive repairs in a live warehouse
• Utilise latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness
• Support and mentor on-site apprentices
• Lead continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices EU-wide
