Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Senior Retail Security & Loss Prevention Officer for their London - Oxford Street site. You will be the highly visible security presence, deter theft, protect staff and stock, and support loss prevention strategies.

The role requires a valid SIA SG/DS license, at least two years in retail security, and strong communication. You will complete detailed incident reports and work closely with store management to uphold client standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' retail security experience.
• SIA SG or DS license required.
• Proven ability to identify and prevent theft, fraud, and stock loss.
• Strong written reporting skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Act as a highly visible security presence to protect colleagues, customers, stock, and company assets.
• Proactively identify and prevent theft, fraud, and stock loss.
• Support the delivery of store loss prevention strategies and contribute to shrinkage reduction.
• Monitor and respond to suspicious activity and security incidents.
• Conduct investigations and gather relevant information relating to theft and loss prevention incidents.
• Produce accurate and detailed incident reports using digital reporting systems.
• Build positive working relationships with store management and retail teams.
• Ensure all site security procedures and client requirements are followed at all times.
• Respond effectively to emergencies, incidents, and fire evacuation procedures.
• Conduct staff and contractor searches where required and authorised.
• Maintain professional standards of appearance, conduct, and customer service at all times.

Senior Retail Security & Loss Prevention Officer

We are seeking a highly professional and experienced

Retail Security & Loss Prevention Officer to join our team in

London - Oxford Street.

This role is ideally suited to individuals who have a

proven background in retail security, loss prevention, and shrinkage reduction within busy retail environments. We are looking for confident professionals who can combine exceptional customer service with proactive theft prevention and store protection.

Please note that applications will only be considered from candidates who have a

minimum of 2 years' retail security experience.

Location: London - Oxford Street

Pay Rate: £16.25 - £16.50 per hour (dependent on experience)

SG / DS SIA license required

Your Time at Work

Our Perfect Worker

• A valid SIA Security Guarding (SG) or Door Supervision (DS) license
• A minimum of 2 years' retail security experience
• Experience identifying and preventing theft, fraud, and stock loss
• Excellent communication and conflict management skills
• A professional, smart, and highly presentable approach
• Strong written skills with experience completing incident reports and documentation
• Confidence using digital reporting systems and mobile technology
• The ability to remain calm, observant, and decisive in challenging situations
