Job summary

Staffline, in partnership with TSS, seeks an Elite Retail Security officer to cover multiple sites. The role requires a valid SIA SG/DS licence, a driving licence, and a minimum of three years in retail security.

You will deter theft, support loss prevention strategies, and uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism. The position offers varied shifts between 8:45am and 7:15pm, seven days a week, with extensive training and career progression opportunities within Staffline’s

Responsibilities

• Act as a highly visible security presence to protect colleagues, customers, stock, and company assets.
• Proactively identify and prevent theft, fraud, and stock loss.
• Support the delivery of store loss prevention strategies and contribute to shrinkage reduction.
• Monitor and respond to suspicious activity and security incidents.
• Conduct investigations and gather information related to theft and loss prevention incidents.
• Produce accurate incident reports using digital reporting systems.
• Build positive relationships with store management and retail teams.
• Ensure all site security procedures and client requirements are followed.
• Respond to emergencies, incidents, and fire evacuations.
• Conduct staff and contractor searches when required and authorised.
• Maintain professional appearance, conduct, and customer service.

We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Elite Retail Security to join our team.

This role is ideally suited to individuals who have a

proven background in retail security, loss prevention, and shrinkage reduction within busy retail environments. We are looking for confident professionals who can combine exceptional customer service with proactive theft prevention and store protection.

Please note that applications will only be considered from candidates who have a minimum of 3 years' retail security experience.

Your Responsibilities

As an Elite Security Officer, you will:

• Act as a highly visible security presence to protect colleagues, customers, stock, and company assets
• Proactively identify and prevent theft, fraud, and stock loss

• Monitor and respond appropriately to suspicious activity and security incidents
• Conduct investigations and gather relevant information relating to theft and loss prevention incidents
• Produce accurate and detailed incident reports using digital reporting systems
• Build positive working relationships with store management and retail teams
• Ensure all site security procedures and client requirements are followed at all times
• Respond effectively to emergencies, incidents, and fire evacuation procedures
• Conduct staff and contractor searches where required and authorised
• Maintain professional standards of appearance, conduct, and customer service at all times

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid SIA Security Guarding (SG) or Door Supervision (DS) licence
• A minimum of 3 years' retail security experience
• Experience identifying and preventing theft, fraud, and stock loss
• Excellent communication and conflict management skills
• A professional, smart, and highly presentable approach
• Strong written skills with experience completing incident reports and documentation
• Confidence using digital reporting systems and mobile technology
• The ability to remain calm, observant, and decisive in challenging situations
