Senior Residential Youth Worker

We are recruiting 2 highly ambitious and qualified Senior Residential Youth Workers to join our successful and experienced staff team in a children’s residential care home.

Qualifications and Experience: Candidates should ideally have at least 6 months experience in a similar setting and possess a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or a qualification of similar or higher standing.

Role Overview: You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons, presenting a range of disorders, behaviors, and needs. We seek individuals who have the confidence, understanding, patience, and skills to work effectively with young people and positively impact their lives.

This position involves providing guidance, interaction, and support to children and young adults within residential care, creating a safe environment that addresses their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting children and young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, social activities, family contacts, education, and shopping.
2. Being a positive role model.

We are looking for flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals interested in working within a specialist environment.

Additional Requirements:
