Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce.
• At least 2 years of experience in residential childcare.
• Must hold a valid manual driving license.
• Be 22 years of age or above (Ofsted requirement).

Responsibilities

• Teach children to build self-esteem and support their journey into adulthood.
• Create positive relationships with children, meeting their needs while safeguarding them.
• Lead shifts, supervise staff, manage rotas, implement policies and risk assessments, and ensure education is supported through placement plans.
• Provide welfare and guidance to all residential workers.
