Job description

Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker

Reports To: Registered Manager

Location: Wakefield, WF1

Salary: £15.00 to £16.00 per hour DOE / £37,170 - £39,120 PA (including sleeps and on-call allowance)

Monthly Attendance Bonus: £150 per month

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, 3 shifts per week / 162.50 hours

Sleep-ins: 10 per month

Your Team

You will be supported by an in-house Clinical Team and the Head of Care, an ex-Ofsted Inspector.

Career Progression

You will be enrolled in a fast-track Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership in Health and Social Care for Children, with paid study leave, to prepare you for a future role as a Registered Manager.

Entry Requirements
  • Genuine passion for working with children and promoting their welfare
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
  • Willingness to undergo training and professional development
  • DOLS experience (desirable)
  • Positive behaviour management training/understanding
  • Knowledge of Children's Home Regulations and Ofsted requirements
  • A driving license
