Job summary

Your Chapter Ltd. is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker to lead a therapeutic home for vulnerable children. You will supervise staff, ensure high-quality care, and support day-to-day routines including personal care, meals and activities within a safe, nurturing environment.

The role requires leadership, resilience, and a commitment to trauma-informed care, with the ability to work flexible shifts and participate in occasional sleep-ins within the salary package.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential childcare and leadership responsibilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent.
• Commitment to safeguarding and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Support children with routines, meals and activities.
• Mentor junior staff and support their development.
• Provide emotional and behavioural support to children.
• Promote learning, skills development and personal growth.
• Maintain records and contribute to care planning.
• Help create a safe, structured home environment.
