HAND Enterprise Solutions LTD. is seeking a passionate Senior Residential Support Worker to join our children's home team in the Northampton area.

You will lead shifts, mentor staff, and ensure high standards of care in a safe, nurturing environment for vulnerable children and young people. You will work a full-time, shift-based pattern including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays, with sleep-in payments where applicable, and access to ongoing professional development and career

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce, Residential Childcare, or equivalent.
• Experience working with children and young people who display challenging behaviours.
• Previous experience leading shifts within a residential childcare setting.
• Experience supervising and supporting care staff.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to remain calm, resilient, and professional in challenging situations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead shifts and provide day-to-day guidance to residential care staff.
• Support children and young people with daily routines, education, activities, and life skills development.
• Promote positive behaviour and implement appropriate boundaries and support strategies.
• Safeguard and protect children and young people, ensuring welfare remains a priority.
• Develop, implement, and review care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans.
• Build effective relationships with social workers, education teams, therapists, families and professionals.
• Complete high-quality documentation and records in line with regulatory requirements.
• Supervise, mentor and support development of junior team members.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and nurturing home environment.
• Support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager, including covering duties.
