Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 7-bed children’s home in the UK. You will ensure the home environment is safe, secure and motivating for staff and young people, while meeting Ofsted standards and safeguarding requirements.

You will manage day-to-day operations, drive positive outcomes, and participate in referrals within our specialist education and care services. A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership is essential, along with a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience managing an Ofsted rated Good or Outstanding children’s home.
• Enthusiastic leader with a passion to make a difference.
• Level 5 Diploma qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England)
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations in the home and meet Ofsted requirements.
• Lead and motivate staff to create a secure, supportive environment for young people.
• Oversee referrals and safeguarding within a SEND setting.
