Job summary

Redwood Search is seeking an experienced Lead Conveyancer for a busy Bromsgrove office. The role focuses on overseeing day-to-day operation of the residential conveyancing team while managing your own caseload.

You will mentor colleagues, build strong client relationships and deliver a first-class service throughout the conveyancing process, handling freehold, leasehold, and new-build transactions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Significant residential conveyancing experience (10+ years preferred).
• Ability to manage complex transactions independently.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Proactive, commercial approach to client service.
• Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work within compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Advise on new build and shared ownership transactions.
• Manage lease extension matters.
• Support and mentor fee earners and support staff.
• Maintain exceptional client care standards.
• Build relationships with estate agents, brokers and other professionals.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and case management adherence.
• Contribute to department growth through networking.
