Salford City Council’s Children's Residential Service is expanding, and we’re thrilled to invite a passionate Senior Residential Childcare Worker to join our brand new home. What Will You Do?
As a Senior Residential Childcare Worker, you'll help us set the tone in a brand new home, providing both vision and stability. You’ll use your experience and therapeutic knowledge to craft a nurturing environment that feels like a true home for our young residents.

Who We're Looking For:
We are looking for someone with a solid background in residential childcare, with hands-on experience in supporting managing the complexities of a children’s home. You will bring a deep-seated passion for using therapeutic approaches in the care of young people. Holding a Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is highly desirable.

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check currently £49.50. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £12.38 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £49.50.
