Job summary

Greenvolt Next seeks a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead B2B solar PV and battery storage sales growth in the UK. You will own the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation, with a focus on high-value renewables projects.

Based in the Warrington area with regular travel to customer sites and industry events, you will build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, driving tender activity and securing orders.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales or business development experience in renewables, energy, engineering, construction or related technical sectors.
• Strong lead generation, pipeline management and sales conversion skills.
• Experience managing complex proposals, tenders and commercial negotiations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• CRM systems proficiency, especially Microsoft Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of commercial, industrial and utility-scale renewable energy opportunities.
• Generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, events and market engagement.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Qualify prospects and convert opportunities into secured project orders.
• Own the sales process from lead generation through to contract negotiation and project awards.
• Lead tender preparation, submission and bid strategy activities.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders to deliver compliant and competitive proposals.
• Review and challenge technical and commercial assumptions to optimise customer solutions.
