Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and operating large-scale cloud-native data platforms.
• Strong track record building reliable distributed data pipelines (SQL, Python).

• Ability to influence engineering direction through collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive long-term data engineering strategy for the domain.
• Design scalable batch and streaming platforms powering analytics and ML.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and Platform teams.
• Lead architecture decisions and establish best practices for quality and observability.
• Design data models and platform architecture for scalable growth to 1B users.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of thoughtful engineering and knowledge sharing.
