You will lead architectural decisions, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive data quality, governance, and operational excellence while mentoring engineers to raise technical excellence across squads.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale cloud-native data platforms.
• Proven ability to design reliable distributed data pipelines.
• Strong data modeling, metadata management, governance, and data quality practices.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term data engineering strategy for the Subscriptions User Understanding domain.
• Design scalable batch and streaming data platforms for analytics, experimentation, ML, and subscriber experiences.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics and Platform teams to turn complex challenges into durable data solutions.
• Lead architectural decisions and establish engineering best practices for data quality, governance, observability and reliability.
• Design data models and platform architecture that support sustainable growth toward one billion users.
• Simplify complex systems, reduce technical debt, and improve developer experience across the data ecosystem.
• Mentor senior engineers and foster a culture of thoughtful engineering and continuous improvement.
