Amazon's Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is central to our commitment to innovation. As a Senior RME Technician, you'll help us stay ahead by adopting the latest technologies and implementing upgrades to raise our high standards across our EU network, at one of our UK operational sites.

You will lead shifts, supervise technicians, monitor equipment with Scada, and drive improvements to reduce downtime so operations can process packages quickly.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or completion of a 4-year IRL/UK certified apprenticeship.
• Experience in technical leadership roles.
• Experience in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Experience in automation or material handling equipment environments.
• Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate best practice on using equipment safely and monitor teams to ensure correct processes.
• Keep track of equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks and schedule additional servicing when required.
• Supervise technicians on shift to support their development and act as the first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers
• Solve issues in equipment to reduce downtime for operations so they can process packages as quickly as possible
• Support in finding ways to continually improve systems and standardize processes across the EU network
