Amazon is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineer (RME) Technician to lead maintenance across our EU fulfilment network. You will oversee reliability, apply new technologies, and ensure safe, efficient operation of packaging and distribution equipment.

You will supervise on-shift technicians, monitor equipment with condition-based checks and SCADA-like tools, and drive improvements to reduce downtime and boost uptime.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays.
• Relevant experience in technical leadership roles in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Experience in automation or material handling equipment environments; PLC knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Keep track of equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Supervise technicians on shift to support their development and act as first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
• Solve equipment issues to reduce downtime and keep packaging operations running smoothly.
• Suggest and implement improvements to standardise and optimise systems across sites within the EU network.
