Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineer to lead our RME team at one of our operational sites in the UK. You’ll help maintain high standards, adopt new technologies, and implement upgrades to keep equipment performing at peak levels.

You’ll oversee shift teams, monitor equipment, coordinate preventative maintenance, and drive improvements across the EU network. Expect night and weekend shifts, opportunities to progress into more senior roles, and involvement with advanced

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or completed a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship.
• Experience with automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical principles, PLCs, NEC, and related maintenance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate best practice on equipment safety and monitor teams to ensure correct processes.
• Track equipment performance via visual checks, condition-based monitoring and preventive maintenance; schedule servicing as needed.
• Supervise technicians on shift and act as first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
• Resolve equipment issues to reduce downtime and help operations process packages quickly.
• Support in driving continuous improvements and standardising processes across the EU network.
