Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineer to lead a skilled team at an operational site. You will drive maintenance across automated systems, monitor performance, and implement improvements with a focus on uptime and safety.

The role includes night and weekend shifts and opportunities for progression within the RME organization, backed by a culture of innovation. Ideal candidates bring NVQ Level 3 or a UK four-year apprenticeship in mechanics/electrical/mechatronics, PLC/SCADA

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics.
Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends/nights/holidays.
Experience with automated conveyors, electrical/electronic principles, PLCs and industrial controls.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate best practice on equipment safety and monitor teams to ensure correct processes.
Track equipment performance through visual checks, CBM and preventive maintenance tasks; schedule servicing when required.
Supervise shift technicians and act as first contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
Resolve equipment issues to reduce downtime and speed up package processing.
Contribute to improving systems and standardising processes across the EU network.
