Job summary

Amazon.com, Inc is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineer (RME) Technician to lead shift teams, ensure safe operation, and implement improvements across EU sites. You will monitor equipment performance via SCADA, coordinate preventive maintenance, and mentor colleagues to uphold our high standards.

Qualifications

4 years UK certified apprenticeship or equivalent
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or a 4-year UK apprenticeship
Willing to work flexible schedules including weekends and nights
Experience as technical lead or mentor
Experience in electrical or mechanical engineering
Experience in material handling equipment (MHE) or automation environments
English-language communication skills, written and verbal
Experience with vendor management
Experience with robotic maintenance
Experience leading engineering teams
Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM requirements
Experience with multi-contractor management
Experience with PLC-controlled automation
Experience with CMMS software and maintenance planning/auditing
Bachelor’s degree in relevant operations field

Responsibilities

Lead a shift to ensure teams have the equipment and tools needed
Monitor processes to meet regulations and ensure preventive maintenance
Diagnose and fix equipment to reduce downtime and improve throughput
Identify and implement improvements across the EU network
Collaborate with the line manager on admin tasks and cross-site initiatives
