Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Technician to lead maintenance of automated systems at our Leeds site.

You’ll champion safe equipment practices, supervise a shift, and drive improvements across the EU network using SCADA tools. You’ll bring an engineering apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3, experience in automation or material handling, and proven technical leadership.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in engineering
• Engineering apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field
• Experience in a technical leadership role
• Automation or material handling environments experience
• Excellent English communication

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate best practice on equipment use and monitor teams
• Track equipment performance via checks and maintenance tasks
• Supervise shift technicians and act as first point of contact
• Resolve equipment issues to reduce downtime and boost throughput
• Help standardise processes across the EU network
