Job Description:

You will be able to work on a hybrid basis between home and the office, with 2 days working from home.

We have several permanent opportunities available across Pro Rata, Facultative, and/or Excess of Loss specialisms.

As a Senior Reinsurance Technician, you will manage complex portfolios, typically overseeing four client accounts.

Your duties include reinsurance coverage assessment, processing premiums and loss transactions, cash follow-up, and funds disbursement.

You will also provide guidance and training to less experienced colleagues, and may take on leadership and business support activities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage your client portfolio, handling technical duties related to client accounts, premiums, and claims, covering excess of loss, pro rata, binder, and facultative risk types.
• Assess and prepare presentation materials and communications for clients and reinsurers.
• Support and mentor less experienced colleagues.
• Collaborate with credit control to facilitate fund collection.
• Manage brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, post-booking receipts, payments, and transactional processes.
• Identify and resolve issues and queries.
