Noble Recruiting is currently seeking a confident and experienced Senior Export Operator to join our friendly and proactive client in Basildon, Essex.

Applicants must be residing in the UK within the local area. Please note that we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

This is a permanent, full-time position on-site only — no remote or hybrid options.

You will take on a supervisory role overseeing the existing Export and Cross Trade Team.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Manage team processes to ensure the department meets weekly deadlines.
2. Handle global forwarding cargo movements (FCL & LCL) that are not aligned.
3. Oversee core export consolidations.
4. Manage the department’s profit and loss.
5. Serve as the liaison between the Warehouse Manager and the Import Department.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Previous experience in Freight Forwarding/Shipping environments.
• Good computer literacy.
• Export experience is required.
• Experience with Cross Trade operations.
• Assertiveness and the ability to motivate team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
• Highly organised with a willingness to take responsibility for workload.
• Own transport is desirable.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
