Job summary

Homes England is seeking an Assistant Director to lead the Regional Delivery Office, shaping housing, regeneration and place strategies across the UK. You will oversee operational delivery, manage a senior team and work with Executive Directors to unlock homes and accelerate regeneration.

You will engage with partners and government, travel across the country, and embed inclusive leadership while delivering priority projects in line with masterplans.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior level experience in housing policy, operational development and related sectors.
• Degree or professional qualification or significant senior level experience required.
• Strong engagement and representation skills for senior meetings and media.

Responsibilities

• Oversee efficiency and effectiveness of Directorate operations.
• Lead a team delivering operational activity for Private Office and Executive Directors.
• Develop and implement strategies aligned to Directorate goals and objectives.
• Manage cross-cutting project work and stakeholder communications.
• Travel across the country as the role requires.
• Provide comprehensive support to the Chief Regional Delivery Officer and Directors.
