Job summary

Phoenix Futures in London is seeking a Senior Recovery Worker Practitioner to support people at HMP Pentonville on their recovery journey, offering training and direct client support. You will work within a multi-disciplinary custodial setting and may take on line-management duties in due course.

You will develop personalised care plans, deliver interventions, maintain caseloads, and build strong partnerships with prison and community agencies to ensure seamless care after release.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and social care, ideally within substance use, mental health or comparable field.
• Evidence of effective partnership & networking for client benefit.
• Experience managing a busy caseload with excellent organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word; familiarity with database management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of custody-related challenges.

Responsibilities

• Train existing team members and induct new staff to ensure correct service delivery.
• Develop and deliver interventions and care plans; manage own caseload.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partner agencies.
• Support line management duties as they develop in the role.
