Job summary

Change Grow Live in West Sussex is seeking a Dependancy and Recovery Coordinator to support service users from entry into the service through their recovery journey. You will conduct screening, assessments, and recovery planning, with onward referrals and advocacy when needed.

The role requires working across Worthing and Crawley Probation Offices, 37.5 hours per week, and a permanent contract. DBS check applies; salary range £28,557.79 – £32,802.41 with pro rata adjustments for part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience of working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics.
• Proactive and able to use own initiative with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Support service users from entry into the service and through treatment/recovery.
• Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning with onward referral.
• Reduce drug and alcohol harm to service users and the wider community.
• Promote carer, service user, and community involvement.
• Advocate for access to partnership services.
• Coordinate with professionals and stakeholders to support social reintegration.
