Job summary

Critical Project Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Senior Project Engineer to own the light systems scope for the Washwood Heath depot, Birmingham spur, with Signalling, SCADA and telecomms at its heart.

You will identify engineering risks that could affect delivery, work with client, contractor and wider teams to resolve them, and ensure effective interfaces and technical assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Requires background in railway systems engineering with experience in light systems disciplines (signalling, SCADA, telecomms) and understanding of how rail systems interact with civils programmes.
• Experience across multi-disciplinary programs with interface management, technical assurance and risk identification.
• CDM Regulations 2015 knowledge and NEC3 contract structures expected; Chartered Engineer status or progression towards it preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the light systems scope and identify engineering risks that could affect depot delivery.
• Collaborate with client, contractor and wider programme teams to resolve issues and protect the engineering position.
• Ensure robust interfaces and proactive technical assurance across the delivery lifecycle.
