Job summary

CPR is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for the Washwood Heath depot in the Birmingham area. You will own heavy systems engineering scope (Track, OCS, OLE cable power) and drive risk resolution with clients, contractors and wider programme teams.

You will oversee design, construction and commissioning activities, coordinate interfaces, and fulfil NEC3 Supervisor duties and CDM 2015 Principal Designer responsibilities as delegated.

Qualifications

• Background in railway systems engineering across heavy systems.
• Experience working across multi-disciplinary programmes with interface management and risk.
• Experience in client-side or technically accountable roles with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of heavy systems scope across the depot delivery.
• Coordinate across client, contractor and programme teams to resolve engineering risks.
• Support design, construction, commissioning assurance and interface management.
• Perform NEC3 Supervisor duties and act as Principal Designer Representative under CDM 2015.
