Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting a Senior Project Engineer – Light Systems to support the delivery of the Washwood Heath Depot contract as part of HS2's railway infrastructure programme. You will work across signalling, SCADA and communications to integrate systems with civil, power and track disciplines in a highly collaborative, delivery-focused role.

Qualifications

• Strong rail systems engineering background including signalling, SCADA, telecommunications.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces on major infrastructure projects.
• Broad understanding of how rail systems interact with civil works and power.
• Experience with Tier 1 contractors, consultancies, or major delivery organisations.
• Proven problem-solving ability to protect project delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across disciplines.
• Proven delivery of engineering activities and outcomes.
• Ability to interpret technical designs for construction and installation.
