Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Transportation Project Delivery Practice (PDP) in the UK seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead major rail projects, influence team growth and progress toward a Project Director role. The role requires travel two to three days per week across the UK and Ireland, with a home office in Manchester, Birmingham, Derby or Stockton-on-Tees.

You will manage project delivery against revenue, profit and cash-flow targets, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure governance and quality

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Project Manager on large scale multidisciplinary UK infrastructure projects (>£5M annual design fees).
• Experience delivering rail projects for clients such as Network Rail, HS2, TfL, or Principal Contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead major rail projects or smaller rail projects with responsibility for delivery quality and commercial targets.
• Oversee governance, contract administration and life-cycle delivery.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers and Design Managers within the team.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to win repeat work.
• Support regional strategy development and lead bid efforts for rail opportunities.
