Job summary

Pemrnanet is seeking an experienced Rail Systems Discipline Lead to join a major rail infrastructure programme in Milton Keynes on a hybrid basis. You will lead technical interfaces across rail systems (Track, OCS, traction power, signalling, telecoms), coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage design changes and handover, and ensure technical compliance and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in rail systems engineering or design on major rail projects.
Broad knowledge across Track, OCS, traction power, signalling and telecoms.
Proven track record coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical interface with the client across all rail systems disciplines.
Chair technical interface meetings and build relationships with client SMEs and stakeholders.
Drive identification and resolution of complex technical issues.
Develop and maintain technical management plans aligned with project delivery objectives.
Coordinate design development and manage changes across technical teams.
Ensure handover readiness and transfer to contractors in line with milestones.
Balance resources to support successful project delivery.
