Carmichael UK is seeking a Rail Systems Discipline Lead to join our Routewide team in Milton Keynes. You will chair client interface meetings across Rail Systems, Asset management, System safety, Interoperability and Security, and own key management plans to keep the programme on track.

Competenze

• Experience in technical rail systems design/engineering on major projects.
• Chartered professional qualification (CEng MPWI or equivalent) desirable.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams with competing priorities.

Mansioni

• Chair client interface meetings with each area of responsibility.
• Own management plans and supervise design change with other disciplines.
• Lead assessment of technical change requested by the client.
• Maintain relationships with client SMEs to facilitate issue resolution.
• Coordinate handover with rail systems contractors to meet milestones.
• Develop strategy for construction phase O&M manual production.
• Track Interoperability compliance progress with the Approval Body.

Extensive rail systems experience
