Job summary

EKFB is seeking a Rail Systems Discipline Lead to join the Routewide team in Milton Keynes. You will chair client interface meetings across Rail Systems disciplines, manage interfaces with other disciplines and own associated management plans to ensure timely delivery within the HS2 scope.

The role demands leadership of technical change, ensuring compliance, and collaboration with handover teams to finalise rail systems elements for handover to contractors, aligned with project milestones.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in technical rail systems roles (design/engineering) on major projects.
• CEng MPWI or equivalent chartered status desirable.
• Ability to lead a team and manage competing priorities for the project.
• Experience in commercial/contractual aspects with suppliers and client.
• Strong communication across organisational levels.

Responsibilities

• Chair client interface meetings across rail systems disciplines.
• Manage interfaces and changes affecting designs with other disciplines.
• Lead strategy for construction phase O&M manual production and ensure interoperability compliance progress.
