Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Buildings Portfolio within the Southern Renewals Enterprise. You will support commercial delivery on a rail station and infrastructure programme across Network Rail's Southern Route.

You will manage subcontract procurement, apply NEC contracts, and drive commercial administration while working across multiple projects from offices in London or Kent with site travel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering infrastructure or rail projects as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and subcontract procurement.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Member or working towards membership of RICS/ICES or similar.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial delivery of a varied rail infrastructure programme.
• Manage subcontract procurement and commercial administration.
• Apply NEC contracts and monitor financial performance.
• Collaborate with other teams across multiple projects.
• Provide mentoring to junior commercial professionals.
