Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a rail infrastructure programme across the Southern Route. You will work within the Buildings Portfolio and Southern Renewals Enterprise, delivering commercial excellence on station and infrastructure projects.

The role offers office bases in Blackfriars, Gravesend or Basingstoke with travel across the portfolio. A commercially astute, proactive professional with NEC contract experience is sought.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction, infrastructure or rail.
• Experience with NEC forms of contract and subcontract procurement.
• Strong financial, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial delivery of a varied programme of station and infrastructure projects.
• Manage subcontract procurement and commercial administration.
• Engage with stakeholders and maintain strong communication across teams.
