Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Buildings Portfolio for the Southern Renewals Enterprise. You will drive commercial delivery across rail infrastructure projects, including station and M&E works, with NEC contract expertise.

Based from Blackfriars, Gravesend or Basingstoke, travel across the Southern Route is required. You will mentor junior commercial staff and oversee multiple projects while maintaining strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor in construction, infrastructure or rail.
• Strong knowledge of NEC forms of contract and commercial administration.
• Proven ability to manage subcontract procurement and financials.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial delivery across a varied rail project portfolio.
• Apply NEC contracts knowledge to project commercials and procurement.
• Mentor junior commercial staff and manage multiple projects.
