Job summary

Amey in London is seeking a Principal Project Manager for Rail/TFL to lead delivery of large projects within a hybrid working model, with office/site presence 4 days a week. You will drive governance, manage senior teams and ensure projects meet safety, time, budget and quality objectives.

Ideal candidates will have extensive rail project experience, NEC4 accreditation, and a track record in stakeholder engagement and commercial delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering large rail projects or multi-project portfolios.
• Experience with governance, assurance and risk management across portfolios.
• NEC4 accreditation is essential; APMP/ChPP desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for multiple large projects or portfolios.
• Establish and maintain governance and assurance frameworks across projects.
• Ensure delivery is safe, on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Act as key client contact ensuring Amey is seen as trusted delivery partner.
• Manage commercial and financial performance including budgets and KPIs.
• Line manage Senior Project Managers and Project Managers.
• Oversee risk, issue and opportunity management and mitigation.
