Arup is seeking a Senior Rail Civils Engineer to join our growing North Rail team in Manchester or Glasgow. You will lead civil design across feasibility to detailed design, and work with clients and delivery partners to deliver complex rail projects.

You will provide technical leadership, review designs and mentor junior staff, while exploring digital delivery, automation, encoding and AI to improve quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND or equivalent experience in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status with ICE is desirable.
• Experience with Network Rail standards, RSSB standards, CDM/CSM and Safe by Design.

Responsabilités

• Lead the civil engineering input across projects from feasibility to detailed design.
• Maintain client relationships and communicate technical solutions clearly.
• Review drawings, calculations and documentation; manage design risks.
• Mentor apprentices, graduates and engineers and support professional qualifications.
