Job summary

Arup is seeking an experienced Rail Design Manager to lead multidisciplinary design delivery across UK rail projects and coordinate engineering interfaces. You will work with clients, contractors and delivery partners to assure quality, programme and commercial outcomes.

The role offers opportunities to mentor designing professionals, support bids and strengthen Arup’s rail design management services while developing technical leadership within the Rail business.

Qualifications

• Lead multidisciplinary rail design delivery across feasibility, scheme and detailed design.
• Establish engineering governance and assurance arrangements.
• Knowledge of NR/L2/RSE/02009 and design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design interfaces across disciplines.
