Kier Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for our Water Treatment Works Upgrade team based in Wisley, Surrey. The role involves commercial management within a supportive team to ensure timely delivery of the construction phase.

You will manage procurement, valuations, cashflows and contractual matters, while leading junior staff and driving margin improvements as part of a civils-focused project.”

Qualifications

• Required: relevant construction degree.
• Must have a full driving licence.
• Experience in a contractor commercial role, Civils exposure preferred.
• Experience with a variety of contract forms.
• Proven ability to lead and develop junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with procurement strategy, including subcontract inquiries and tender reviews.
• Manage valuations, project cashflows, turnover forecasts, monthly cost reports and progress records.
• Provide legal and contractual advice on orders and changes, handling notices and subcontractor administration.
• Drive commercial initiatives, producing margin improvement plans and supporting team members.
• Lead and manage junior staff, ensuring workload targets and deadlines are met.
