Energy Jobline CVL in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established groundworks contractor. The role offers hybrid working potential and a salary up to £70,000 per year plus benefits and a car allowance or company car.

You will manage commercial aspects across live residential groundworks packages, prepare variations, and produce cost and value reports to support project decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential groundworks.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract management skills.
• Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Value engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Maximise contract profitability across multiple projects.
• Prepare and manage client variation quotations.
• Produce accurate monthly cost and value reports.
• Apply value engineering principles to improve project outcomes.
• Manage commercial aspects of residential groundworks packages.
• Carry out the full range of Quantity Surveyor duties across live sites.
