Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our Sheffield team. You will deliver pre- and post-contract QS services, support commercial management on civil infrastructure projects, and collaborate with senior colleagues across a busy project portfolio.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Quantity Surveying, with consultancy/PQS experience, NEC contract exposure, and MRICS status or progression with company backing for chartership.

Qualifications

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Consultancy/PQS-side experience (essential).
• Exposure to infrastructure, utilities, or water projects (desirable).
• Strong commercial awareness and communication skills.
• MRICS status, or currently working towards chartership (full support provided).
• NEC contract experience (essential).

Responsibilities

• Delivering pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services
• Supporting the commercial management of civil, infrastructure, and utility projects
• Preparing cost plans, procurement strategies, and risk assessments
• Assisting with contract administration and reporting
• Attending client meetings and supporting client relationships
• Working collaboratively as part of a growing project team
