Job summary

Kenton Black in Sheffield is seeking a Permanent Quantity Surveyor to support our residential groundworks projects with a hybrid working option. Salary up to £70,000 p.a. plus benefits, with a car allowance or company car and pension. This is a long-term role within a well-established contractor driving growth and progression.

You will maximise profitability, prepare variation quotations, and produce monthly cost and value reports while applying value engineering to improve project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential groundworks.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract management skills.
• Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Value engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
