Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the Midlands is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead delivery on major infrastructure projects from Derby. You will work with clients across the public and private sectors, managing commercial processes and maintaining value across the supply chain.

The role emphasises leadership, coaching of teams, and a proactive approach to risk, contract strategy, and stakeholder engagement within a collaborative, flexible and hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Senior QS with experience in major programmes and complex infrastructure.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• Member of, or working towards, RICS or equivalent body.
• Experience with NEC, JCT, FIDIC contracts and advising clients on their application.
• Experience in line management or leading a team with ability to provide direction and development.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery across a range of complex, high-value infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with clients and supply chain partners to develop and deliver solutions.
• Apply commercial and procurement expertise to advise on governance, value, and risk in the supply chain.
• Build relationships with national infrastructure clients and work with cross-functional teams.
• Support business development and win-work activities, including bid writing and pre-contract engagement.
• Promote AtkinsRéalis brand and deliver excellent client service.
