Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for our Midlands team, based in Derby. You will work across major infrastructure programmes, advising clients and leading commercial teams to maximise value and efficiency.

You will manage procurement, contracts and supply chain activities with a focus on collaborating with clients, partners and internal teams. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and business development flair, with hybrid and flexible working options available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial/construction discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge.
• Member of, or working towards, RICS or equivalent body.
• Experience with NEC, JCT and FIDIC contracts and advising clients on their application.
• Experience of line management or leading a team with clear direction and development.
• Ability to work in a client-facing environment with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex challenges.
• Business development and win-work experience such as bid writing and client relationship management.

• Work across a wide range of projects supporting clients on complex and high-value programmes.
• Collaborate with clients and their supply chain partners to develop and deliver solutions to complex problems.
• Lead with a growth mindset, building relationships with national infrastructure clients.
